The Chairman's unit contains an audio amplifier and a loudspeaker, a microphone pre-amplifier and associated control circuit. The microphone is a high sensitivity, high quality electric condenser microphone, on a goose neck which is plugged into a lockable pin socket on the top of the unit. With an addition of Chairman's priority interrupt button, when activate this interrupt function coluld mute all activated delegate's unit, thus allowing the Chairman to control and maintain the conference order. The Delegates' units are similar in appearance to the Chairman's unit. Two spring-return action switchs on the front panel, to act separately as microphone on switch and a microphone reset switch. A passive unit is suitable for use by the secretary or the reporter. The user can only listen to the procceedings via the unit's built-in loudspeaker. The passive unit is connected into the system in the same way as a delegate unit.


The CAROL's congress P.A. system is quite suitable for congress conference rooms in hotels, board rooms, townballs- - -etc. This system includes one chairman's unit, a number of delegates'units, one secretary's passive unit, and a power supply unit. It provides all the facilities that are required in a conference room to enable each speaker to be clearly heard by all the other participants.
